How old is my iPad?
Apple first released the iPad over 10 years ago in 2010 and since then there have been 30 iPad models released. iPads are split into 4 different versions and are split further into different generations which were released in different years. This can be slightly confusing and easy to forget which refurbished iPad, version and generation tablet you have and also how old your device actually is.

As you can see from the above list, there tends to be multiple iPads released each year so it is often easy to get mixed up with how old your device is.
How old is my iPad?
To find out when your refurbished iPad was released, simply open up settings on your tablet, and then select about. This will then bring up all details related to you device and the most important piece in this instance is the model number. Make a note of this model number and then simply either check the number against our list above to see when it was released, or alternatively head over to the Apple website and input the model and this will then bring up all details to your tablet. For example, if an iPad has the model number A1566, checking the above list will show the device is an iPad Air 2 WIFI which was released in 2014.
